The Humane Society is seeking short-term & long-term homes. Those interested in adopting, will receive 1/2 off adult cats/dogs with their approved application, if submitted that day. Adoptions will be scheduled for pickup during the following week.
In addition to loving long-term homes, we are looking for our dogs to have a Merry Christmas by going to a foster home from December 22nd through the 29th. This will ease the load on our staff & volunteers during the holiday season, as well. Our goal is for at least 15 foster homes to come forward, which can choose from any of our 50 dogs! This is three times as many foster homes as we have during the rest of the year. Fosters will also fill out an application, upon which we may request a home visit, prior to animal release. The Humane Society provides all supplies needed during the foster period.
A bake sale & basket raffle will also be part of our fun on this day, and we welcome visitors just to visit with our wonderful animals, as well.

Can we still apply to be holiday foster parents after Saturday’s event? I just found out about it and it’s 7pm on Saturday. If I had known prior to this I would have come down.
