Adoption Fee Details
When you adopt a pet from The Humane Society, your adoption fee covers a number of vaccinations, plus spay/neuter costs.
*Every Adoption of a Dog Includes:
- Rabies Vaccination (if age appropriate)
- Distemper (Includes Parvo/Adenovirus/Parainfluenza Vaccination)
- Bordetella Vaccination
- Fecal Check for Parasites & De-worming
- Flea Preventative
- Spay or Neuter
- Free Veterinary Visit at Any Participating Vet
- Microchipping, if Dog Has Been Spayed/Neutered at Our Facility
- Fees as follows:
- Spayed/Neutered Dogs: $195
- Senior Dogs (over 7 years of age): $50 Off above
- Puppies: $175*
- For Senior Adopters, adopting dogs over 7 years old: 1/2 Off above
*Puppy and Un-altered dog adopters receive $35 once the dog is altered.

If you can’t give me forever, then I’m not your dog.

Every Adoption of a Cat Includes:
- Rabies Vaccination (if age appropriate)
- Rhinotracheitis/Calicivirus/Distemper Combination Vaccination
- FeLV/FIV (Feline Leukemia/Feline AIDS) Testing
- Fecal Check for Parasites & De-worming
- Flea Preventative
- Earmite Check/Treatment
- Spay or Neuter
- Free Veterinary Visit at Any Participating Vet
- Fees as follows:
- Spayed/Neutered Adult Cats (9 months thru 7-years) and Un-spayed/Un-neutered Kittens: $75*
- Spayed/Neutered Kittens (through 8 months of age): $95
- Senior Cats (8 years of age an older): $55
- For Senior Adopters, adopting cats over 7 years old: 1/2 Off above
- 2-for-1 cats/kittens! We love when we can send more than one kitty to its forever home.
*Un-altered Kitten adopters receive $35 once the kitten is altered.
