The Humane Society is an independent, non-profit animal welfare organization. We receive no government funding. We are dedicated to preventing animal cruelty and finding homes for companion animals. We serve the community by sheltering animals, finding them homes, investigating reports of animal cruelty, educating people of all ages, and rescuing animals from threatening situations. The Humane Society was established by volunteers in the late 1800's and became incorporated in the early 1900's.
Thank you to our community!
Hugs from Hailey Animal ID
Hailey would just as soon hug her person all day, as anything else! Any time our volunteers or staff take her out, the first thing she wants to do is reach up for some love. You can read her story on her page on our website. She is now healthy and has a gorgeous speckled coat. Hailey is 2 years old, spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on her shots. She did pass our cat test, as well. She has a hard time around other dogs, so would likely be best as the only dog in the home.
