Gertrude Hawk Chocolate Bar Sales

As part of our fundraising efforts we sell Gertrude Hawk Chocolate Bars for $1 each.  They can be purchased at the Shelter year round and boxes can be signed out to earn community service hours.

Gertrude Hawk Spring Catalog Sales

As part of our fundraising efforts we sell Gertrude Hawk candy from their spring catalog.  Catalogs can be picked up at the Shelter starting January 16.  Orders can be placed online starting January 23 by going to http://www.gertrudehawkchocolates.com/fund-raising and using our group code 708062Sales end on March 10, 2017.

Bowl-a-rama

Grab your friends, family, or co-workers and join us for a day at the lanes!

The Humane Society will be hosting a Bowling Tournament on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM. The event will be held at Midway Lanes in Vestal. All proceeds will benefit The Humane Society.

Top Dog Team Trivia

Join The Humane Society for a night of fun, prizes, and raffles at their Top Dog Fall Team Trivia Night. This event will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017, from 6:00 – 9:30 PM, at the American Legion Post 89, 118 Jensen Road, Vestal, NY. Trivia begins at 7:00 PM.

First prize is $100, second prize is $50, and third prize is $25. In addition, there will be 50/50 raffles, basket raffles, and door prizes.

Admission is $15 per person, which includes a ziti & salad dinner with desserts and a cash bar available. Tickets can be purchased at The Humane Society.

Toy and Collectible Show

Support The Humane Society by attending a Toy and Collectible Show. This event will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017, from 10 AM – 3 PM at the American Legion Post 1645, 177 Robinson St, Binghamton 13904.

Admission to the show is only $3; children under 12 are free with an adult. At the event, there will be vintage toys, trains, dolls, plastic models, die cast, and other collectibles.

Tables are $20 and can be reserved by making checks payable to The Humane Society. Table requests can be mailed to Rick Barron, 94 Albany Avenue, Johnson City, NY 13790.

All proceeds from this event are to benefit The Humane Society towards the care of animals in their shelter while working to find them permanent, loving homes as well as their mission towards the prevention of animal cruelty and abuse.

Toy & Collectible Show 2017 vendor Form

Casino Night

The Humane Society will be holding its Annual Casino Night on Saturday, March 11, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Knights of Columbus in Binghamton at 136 Park Avenue. Tickets are $5 per person and include your first beer or soda. Tickets can be purchased in advance at 2 Jackson Street in Binghamton or at the door on the night of the event.

Games will include Black Jack, Best Poker Hand, Big Six Wheel, 7 over/under. In addition, there will be Basket Raffles, 50/50 Raffles, Music provided by DJ Triple T, Cash Bar, and Food. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age to enter.

Rummage Sale

The Humane Society’s Annual Rummage Sale will be held on Saturday, April 22, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The sale will be held at The American Legion Post 80, 76 Main Street, Binghamton.

Donations for the sale can be dropped off Friday, April 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The American Legion.

Duck Derby

The Humane Society will be hosting its Seventh Annual Duck Derby on Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. The event will be held behind the Holiday Inn Arena in downtown Binghamton.

At approximately 3:00 PM, approximately 10,000 rubber ducks will race competing for cash prizes. Starting at 12:00 there will be music, food, crafts, games, and vendor booths. In addition, The Humane Society’s adoptable animals will be on display.

Claws & Paws Golf Tournament

The Humane Society’s 8th Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Golden Oaks Golf Course in Windsor. There will be a 1:00 pm Shot Gun start, dinner will be held at approximately 6:00 pm. We will also be hosting 50/50 raffles, basket raffles, and more.

The fee is $300 for a four-person team and includes 18 holes of golf, riding cart, gift bag, dinner, and eligibility to win prizes! Tee hole sponsorship signs are available for $100.
