Vaccine Clinics
The Broome County Humane Society
We will be hosting a free, monthly Vaccine Clinic for dogs and cats in need of updated Rabies and Distemper vaccines in our community on the following dates (*dates are subject to change):

All clinics will be held at The Broome County Humane Society located at 167 Conklin Ave in Binghamton from 5:30pm-7:00pm. A $10 cash donation is requested, but not required for each vaccination given.
Things to remember:
- RABIES VACCINE: Puppies and kittens must be at least 3 months old.
- DISTEMPER VACCINE: Puppies and kittens must be at least 8 weeks old
- A record of prior rabies & distemper vaccination is required for a three-year immunization certificate. If no record is presented, a one-year vaccination certification will be issued.
- All dogs must be on a leash. *No retractable leashes are permitted. ONE dog per person.
- All cats must be secured in a crate. *Leashes are not permitted for cats. ONE crate per person.
- All pets must be accompanied by a responsible adult who is able to hold the animal during vaccination.
- ONE PERSON PER SPECIES: If you have dogs AND cats, we require one person to handle only dogs and one person to handle only cats as each species will be seen at opposite ends of the building. Dogs will be seen through the side entrance in our kennel area, and cats will enter through the front door and will exit through the side door on Hall Street. If you do not have someone to assist you with your pets, we request that you bring only dogs one month, and please come back another month with your cats.
- Cleaning up after your pet is required.
- Please maintain control over your animal and keep away from other animals as much as possible.
Upon Arrival:
- Parking is available for the clinic in the lot across the street on Hall St.
- The clinic entrance for DOGS ONLY will be at the far end of the building, closest to the grass. Please dress accordingly as you may be waiting outside.
- The clinic entrance for CATS ONLY will be at the main front entrance. Cats and their owners will then exit through the side Grooming door on Hall Street.
- Clinic will be held rain or shine.
